This F3 Error Code & Part Information Applies To Frigidaire Model Number # FEF326FSA

Error Code F3

The Frigidaire Range Model FEF326FSA F3 error code means the control has detected a open temperature sensor or a runaway temperature. These failures can be caused by either a bad temperature sensor or a failed main control. You can't test the control to see if it's bad but you can test the temperature sensor to rule out the control board. The temperature sensor is the probe you see protruding out of the back oven wall inside the oven. Disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness and test it using an ohmmeter. The sensor should have roughly 1100 ohms at room temperature otherwise it's bad. If the temperature sensor is in the range of around 800-1100 ohms it's good and the control is bad causing the F3 error code. The correct replacement parts to repair the F3 error for model FEF326FSA  are listed on this page.

If you don't have access to an ohmmeter or know how to use one then the best thing to do is just go ahead and replace the sensor and if that does not resolve the error then you will need to replace the main control.
